Privacy Policy
Runlet does not collect, store or share any personal data. It has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no account, and the developer runs no server that Runlet talks to.
Your requests
Requests you build in Runlet go only to the servers you address them to, including OAuth token endpoints you configure. The developer never sees them.
Data on your Mac
- Your workspace, collections, environments, history and response bodies are stored on your Mac, inside Runlet's sandbox container.
- Variables you mark secret are stored in the macOS Keychain and are masked in history and the console.
- Detailed activity logging is off on a fresh install. If you turn it on in Settings, the log stays on your Mac, and Settings shows you what it contains and lets you clear it.
- Files are read or written only when you choose them in an open or save panel, for example to import or export a collection.
Local network
macOS may ask for permission when you send a request to a device on your local network. The optional mock server listens on your Mac's loopback interface only, starts only when you start it, and stops when you stop it or quit Runlet.
Subscription
The free trial and the yearly subscription are handled by Apple through the Mac App Store. Runlet checks Apple's signed transaction on your Mac to know whether your subscription is active. The developer receives no payment details. Apple's handling of your data is covered by Apple's Privacy Policy.
Crash reports
If you choose to share analytics with app developers in macOS System Settings, Apple may provide anonymous crash reports to the developer. Runlet adds nothing to them.
Children
Runlet is a developer tool and is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone.
